What a fantastic experience this was, so pleased my girls got to do it. The equipment and wetsuit were all in good order and the staff friendly. Our instructor was called Emily who was enthusiastic and professional. Emily put so much effort into helping the kids get the most out of the session, she must have been exhausted. We will definitely be back.

I had a few lessons here for surfing before deciding to buy my own board and suit. I’ve also rented paddle boards a few times. The staff here have always been super friendly. The shop and clothing line is also great.

Excellent surf school,with extremely welcoming and friendly staff. My son has had the ‘most awesome time’ this May halfterm holiday. Thank you Louis, Mel and the rest of the team! Two hours surfing, including kit hire £15. Changing facilities onsite. Well stocked surf shop at street level too.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Tynemouth Surf Co. Organising a group of 20 friends to go surfing was a breeze, the staff were flexible, understanding, and very quick to reply via email. Would absolutely recommend to anyone hoping to surf in the northeast!

I had a 1:1 Surf lesson with Nathan yesterday, it was absolutely amazing. The weather conditions weren’t particularly pleasant but he made it so enjoyable that it was hardly noticeable. I learnt so much yesterday, as he watched every wave that I either caught or missed, and told me after each one, what was needed to progress. He really motivated me, and completely boosted my confidence in surfing, so much so that I hope to return very soon for a second lesson! Thank you so much!

Always wanted to try surfing and had the best first experience!! Connell made us feel so at ease and we had so much fun, would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area or always wanted to try surfing. Will definitely be returning for more lessons :)
