Sandy grew up in Tynemouth surfing alongside many surfing legends such as Gabe Davies, Stephen Hudson & Sam Lamiroy. Sandy is now known locally and globally for being a cold water charger and expert barrel rider.

Louis Thomas-Hudson
Louis is a well known, local surfer that grew up surfing around the North East. Louis is former captain of the British surfing team who still competes regularly. He is now focusing on charging big waves!
Rhys Smith
Former Aussie, now adopted Geordie Rhys Smith is by far the best technical surfer in the North of England and is known for his big airs. If you surf around the North East it wont be easy to miss him in the water.
Bethan Davies
Bethan is 14 years old and is former U12 English Champion. Bethan is on the Junior Team GB squad. She competes on the UK and European circuit and recently made the Ripcurl European Grom Search final which was held at Anchor Point in Morocco! Bethan is certainly one to look out for in the line up and is out there even on the coldest of days. She has a bright surfing future ahead and we are stoked to have her on our team!
Finn Gamblin
Finn is a local ripper that has always been a part of Tynemouth Surf Co. He surfed on the British Junior Squad as a grom and is now starting to shine on the North East Breaks. Finn is full of life and all round happy guy. If you don’t spot him ripping you will most likely hear him 😉
