Whatever your age or ability our instructors will ensure your lesson is suited to your needs. We keep class sizes to a minimum allowing us to provide a safe and personal learning experience.

All our instructors are qualified Royal Life Saving Society Beach Lifeguards, Surfing GB or Academy of Surfing accredited. We are registered with North Tynside Council and carry comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. Our aim is to create a fun safe learning environment and we pride ourselves on the enjoyment we give to our customers.

It is our belief that anyone can enjoy surfing whether young or old. We take schools, colleges, families, over 60's, Stag, Hen and birthday parties, as well as individuals.

The Start of a Surf Lesson.

The Surf School is equipped with foamboards & semisoft boards in various lengths as well as quality wetsuits and boots, gloves & hoods for the colder weather.

You will find our surf school on the beach adjoining the Lifeguard station, with changing facilities and showers. All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel. It is essential to learn with an experienced, professional surf school on a safe beach.

We run several types of lesson, the most popular of which is our beginners casual sessions which run from early March to late October at around 2pm (14:00). Please see the table below for lessons available and click on a lesson for more detailed information.

Kids Club / Big Wednesday Club	£15	Following the level of interest in the Big Wednesday Club that ran throughout the summer holidays we are running a kids club which follows the same format as the Big Wednesday club. (Apart from the fact it is not on a Wednesday.) on a Saturday morning at 10:00 - 12:30. Open to ages 6-16. Please click here for more information about the Big Wednesday club.
Beginners Group Session Inc: Birthdays, Stag / Hen Parties Etc.	£20-£25	If there is a group of you wishing to have a lesson together then we can often arrange a lesson for you. These lessons can be arranged to suit you subject to surf and availability, however there is normally a minimum group size of 6 and discounts are offered on groups of 9+.
